GEORGIA CRUSHES HAWAII, VIRGINIA BLOWS IT
The Georgia Bulldogs crushed the Hawaii Rainbows last night 41-10 last night in the Sugar Bowl leaving to doubt that Hawaii probably really didn't belong in a BCS bowl game. The Bulldogs dominated every aspect of the game against Hawaii. Virginia on the other hand found away to lose a game that they should have won, leading by 14 late in the 4th quarter before a monumental collapse. I have to say that never felt comfortable with the lead UVA had because of just what happened, the Cavs are just to inconsistent. It's going to be cold here in Colonial Heights the next couple of days, today it's suppose to be around 41 and tomorrow its not even going to get out of the 30's, however by early next week it is suppose to be back in the lower 60's for a few days. My foot is about the same this morning it is still pretty swollen in the great toe area, the pain isn't to bad though. I have been reading several articles on the WWW the last few days and it looks like that I am going to have to change allot of the things I eat which can cause my uric acid levels to rise and thats going to be hard to do. There is a part time blogger with a birthday Thursday stay tuned to see who it is. MICKEY
Time has a wonderful way of showing us what really matters.

1842 - The first wire suspension bridge was opened to traffic -- in Fairmount, Pennsylvania.
1872 - Brigham Young, the 71-year-old leader of the Mormon Church, was arrested on a charge of bigamy. He had 25 wives. Imagine taking them all to the grocery store each week?
1893 - The first commemorative postage stamps were issued. They commemorated the lowest prices these stamps would ever be again.
1921 - The first religious broadcast on radio was heard, as Dr. E.J. Van Etten of Calvary Episcopal Church preached on KDKA radio in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
1941 - The Andrews Sisters recorded Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy on Decca Records. LaVerne, Maxene and Patty Andrews recorded in Los Angeles and the song was heard in the movie, Buck Privates, starring Bud Abbott and Lou Costello.
1965 - ‘Broadway’ Joe Namath signed the richest rookie contract ($400,000) in the history of pro football when he signed on the dotted line to play with the New York Jets of the American Football League.
1974 - Singing cowboy Tex Ritter died of a heart attack at the age of 67. His son, John, became a significant television star in Three’s Company, and in movies, including Problem Child. In fact, we just saw him on the tube the other night.
1974 - U.S. President Richard M. Nixon signed a bill requiring states to lower the maximum speed limit to 55 MPH. The law was meant to conserve gasoline supplies during an embargo imposed by Arab oil-producing countries. The embargo was lifted on March 13, 1974, but the speed limit lid stayed on until 1987.
1983 - The final edition of Garry Trudeau’s comic strip, Doonesbury, appeared in 726 newspapers. It had a readership of 60 million people. Doonesbury began anew in September 1984.
1987 - The most-watched college football game was played this day, as Joe Paterno’s Nittany Lions of Penn State defeated the Miami Hurricanes, 14-10, at the Fiesta Bowl in Tempe, Arizona. The game was so popular that it beat Dallas and Falcon Crest in the TV ratings.
Fitness Tip
Wear your bucket o’ brains. If you’re going to go cycling, get a helmet in the smallest size that’s comfortable and wear it every time you ride. Adults are twice as likely to die of head injuries then kids, because kids wear them and adults don’t.

what kind of changes to your diet?
Al Groh and the coaching staff lost the game for the mostpart in my opinion.no challenge on fumble eaarly in 3rd period.Instead he blames the reveiw official for not reveiwing. He could have challenged.Poor call in putting backup qb in a position to fumble. A conservertive running call would have leed to more time consumed, rather than an easy score from the 5 yd line.Big time choke on game mnagement. I do not like Groh overall attitude and demeanor.
I have special consultant working on that. This individual is giving me tips on what I should or shouldn't eat while I have the gout.
