Things didn't look good for the Renegades most of the night but the Gades were able to tie the game with 17 seconds left to sent it to OT and were able to pull out a 4-3 win in a shootout. It was good game to watch with allot of pretty good hits and hardly any penalties, the Gades are now off until Thursday night when they will be in Huntsville. In high school football action last night the Colonial Heights Colonials fell to Matoaca 43-0. Down in Georgia on cool rainy night the Crawford County Eagle lost to Heard County 34-20 ending the Eagles season. Down at the beach First Flight beat Currituck 37-18, First Flight will play in the NC 2A playoffs next weekend. I have posted all the other scores of interest below. The Virginia Cavaliers will travel down to Winston Salem, NC to play Wake Forest today, the Cavaliers need a win to keep up with everybody else in Coastal Division of the ACC. East Carolina will be at home today against Marshall in big CUSA match up with the winner taking a 1 game lead in the East Division of CUSA, I will not be going to todays game so I will be watching the UVA & ECU game at the same time. Jimmie Johnson captured the pole for this weeks race at Phoenix, I think he starts on the pole every week. Well I did go down to Wal-Mart this morning and yes I did get some doughnuts but I had to buy a dozen because that was the only way the had them, I really only needed 4 but I had to pay for 12 which didn't make me to happy. My shoulder is bothering me a bit this morning so my PAIN index has gone back up a bit. MICKEY
