The Virginia Cavaliers will be going for there 6th straight win this afternoon against an undefeated Connecticut Huskies team. The Cavs struggled last week at Middle Tennessee State but are back at home today where they usually play pretty well. Today will mark the 6th straight weekend that I have been to a college football game but next week the streak will come to an end when the Renegades return to the ice. Also in college football action today East Carolina will be at UTEP, Georgia will be at Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech will be at Duke. In high school football action last night the Colonials fell to Hopewell 52-14 and the Crawford County Eagles fell to Macon County 27-0, all the other scores of interest are posted to the right of the page. In MLB playoff action last night the Colorado Rockies beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 3-2 in 11 innings and now lead the NL series 2-0 and the Boston Red Sox beat the Cleveland Indians 10-3 to take a 1-0 AL series lead. I did go down to Wal-Mart this morning and I have say it was a pretty smooth trip. Jeff Burton won last night Busch race at the Lowe's Motor Speedway. MICKEY
