The Boston Red Sox hammered the Cleveland Indians last night in game 7 of the AL championship series 11-2 and now move on to play the Colorado Rockies in World Series starting later this week. The Indians just collapsed after building a 3-1 series lead. The Washington Redskins didn't play very well yesterday but they played well enough to beat the Cardinals 21-19, the Skins were just happy to get the win yesterday, the Skins now have to travel to New England next week. Jimmy Johnson won yesterdays cautioned filled race at Martinsville holding of Ryan Newman for the win. Jeff Gordon still leads the point standings by 53 over Jimmy Johnson and 115 over Clint Bowyer. I made it back from the beach last nigh around 6:40 and I have to say that yesterday was a pretty long day and I was a bit tired last night. The weather was very nice at the beach yesterday. Don't forget that the water restrictions go in affect today in Colonial Heights. MICKEY
