Here is an update on Jeff's injury. Jeff had to have 5 stitches on the left side of his face where the ball hit him and the impact fractured his right jaw bone which had to be wired shut this afternoon. He didn't lose any teeth but his jaw will have to be wired shut for about 4-6 weeks, as bad as that sounds it could have been allot worse. Also Brett's elbow surgery has been delayed a week because he has a scrape on his elbow from sliding this week and the DR. was worried about it becoming infected during the surgery. MICKEY

I hope every thing works out for both of them. I guess what happened to Jeff could be worse but it probably doesn't make him feel any bettr. Now all we have to do is keep Brett off the baseball field until he can get his surgery. NOT
glad i wasn't there when jeff got hit because theres a good chance i'd had pics of all that!! this is no joke and i hope i don't curse myself, in 28 years of shooting pics the only accident that resulted in a serious injury that i got pics of was jerry nadeau crashing at rir!
