The cars of Jeff Gordon and Jimmy Johnson were not allowed to practice or qualify yesterday after there cars failed inspection for modifications that were made to there front fenders. They will be allowed to race but will have to start at the rear of the field, Nascar also said that further major penalties could be announced later this week for the infractions. Meanwhile on the track yesterday Jamie McMurray captured the pole for this weekends race at Sonoma edging Robby Gordon for the top spot. The Busch Series is racing in Milwaukee later today. The CWS finals starts tonight with game 1 of the best of 3 series with Oregon State meeting UNC, the Beavers will be going for there 2nd straight title while the Tar Heels will be going for there 1st CWS title, I will be rooting for the Heels. I have posted a photo of the winner of this years ugliest dog in the world contest, his name is Elwood and he sure isn't pretty. Also fellow blogger Keith is back at home from his trip to New Jersey and Donna is either home or on her way back from South Carolina.
