SCHOOLS OUT
I now there allot of people who read this blog that are glad school is out. Colonial Heights High School had graduation exercises last night and from what I understand there was a pretty large turnout this year. I didn't have to go this years commencement but I might have to go to next years festivities. UNC and Rice picked up 1st round wins in the College World Series (CWS), UNC beat Mississippi State 8-5 and Rice beat Louisville 15-10. In todays action it will be Oregon State vs Cal State Fullerton and California Irvine vs Arizona State. Also here in CH the Post 284 baseball team opens up it's 2007 season with a double header at home against Lakeside Post 125 at 3pm and 7pm game against a Legion team from Dothan, Alabama. J.J. Yeley won his 1st career Nextel Cup pole at Michigan yesterday beating Jimmy Johnson for the top spot in Sundays race at Michigan. My AIP index fell a little bit today despite throwing allot of pitches last night in Appomattox League practice, I thought I would be a bit more sore this morning but I am not. I forgot to mention that yesterdays Price Is Right was Bob Barkers final show. MICKEY
