HAPPY FATHERS DAY
Happy Fathers day to all the Dad's who visit Mickey's Place. It look like it is shaping up to be a very warm week here in Colonial Heights starting today with temps 90's most of the week, also officially starts later this week. At the CWS yesterday Oregon State beat Cal Sate Fullerton 3-2 and Arizona Sate beat California Irvin 5-4. In todays winners bracket game it will be UNC vs Rice and in an elimination game Louisville will play Mississippi State. In local baseball action CH Post 284 Bucs split a DH yesterday winning there regular game with Lakeside Post 125 9-8 and losing to the team from Dothan Alabama 13-3. We will play our 1st Appomattox League games of the season Monday night at Prince George before returning home Wednesday night against Thomas Dale. Stephen Leicht picked up his 1st career victory in the Busch Series last night at the Kentucky Speedway, he drives for Robert Yates Racing. The Nextel Cup Series will race at Michigan this afternoon.
