IT SURE WAS HOT YESTERDAY

I have to say that it was pretty hot here in CH yesterday and we sure didn't get much rain out of those thunderstorms last night. It sure looked like we were going to get hammered but when the storms got there it hardly even wet the streets. Andrews LL team is in a must win situation this afternoon when they play the Tigers, Keith says the Tigers are a very good team and that the Nationals will have there hands full with them. Al did you go to VMS and the monster truck show last night and are you going today also. I will be heading down to the OBX in the morning to take mom her car for the summer, it looks like she is down for the long haul now. Speaking of the beach they said the have already put the roof on the new Lone Cedar and at the rate they are progressing they might be open before summer ends. I did go down to the Wal-Mart again this morning at 6am and no they didn't have any donuts ready again. I am starting to wonder if Wal-Mart knows that people eat donuts for breakfast not lunch and dinner, it's not like they are open 24 hours a day. Ryan Newman is on the pole again this week at Pocono, he beat Denny Hamlin for the top spot this week. Also former blogger Gary had knee surgery about 2 weeks ago and is at home recovering, he said he his knee is still very sore and he has had some fluid build up on it since the surgery. He hopes to be able to go back to work this week but his knee still is very sore. MICKEY
