INTERNET BACK UP AND RUNNING
Well after a very frustrating Friday morning I am happy to say that my internet provider is back up running on full steam. I was very frustrated yesterday when it was down yesterday morning. Next week at the time I will be on my way to the beach for a nice week of rest and relaxation. Where in the world has Scott been this week, it's like he just dropped of the face of the earth this week, maybe he is getting ready for his trip to the OBX. Keith, Maureen, and Andrew are heading to the OBX today, I think they are staying till Thursday. Dave Blaney captured the pole for this weeks Nextel Cup race giving Toyota it's 1st pole of the season. Qualifying for IRL race at Richmond this week was washed out, I think Al is going over to take some photos after work today. I did go down to Wal-Mart this morning for my weekly shopping adventure and thought maybe they would have some fresh donuts but they didn't have a donut in the house so I had to get my usual Hostess ones, there goo but not as good as a fresh donut. I have posted a few photos from last year vacation just to try to get everybody in the mood for this years vacation. MICKEY

MY DAY DIDN'T GET OFF TO THE BEST OF STARTS
I have to say my day didn't get off to the best of starts this morning when my internet service was down when I got up. I guess last nights storms did something to the service. I also didn't sleep very well last night either so that added to my morning problems. Our Appomattox League scheduled for tonight has been postponed because the field is still a little to soft from last nights rain. Well since I so late posting todays entry that's all I have. MICKEY

CH PICKS UP TWO MORE APPOMATTOX LEAGUE WINS
The Colonial Heights entry in the Appomattox League picked up two more wins last night at Dinwiddie, CH won the 1st game 13-2 behind the pitching Phillip Griffith and won the 2nd game 4-2 behind the pitching Burke Steele. Offensively Casey Barnes hit a 3run HR and several other CH players had multiple hit games, CH is scheduled to play Manchester at Shepherd Stadium Friday night weather permitting. It has come to my attention that several blog members have had trouble signing over the last couple of months since blogger went to the format, if anybody wants me to send them a new invitation to join Mickey's Place just e-mail me. It was pretty at and humid here in CH yesterday and it looks it's going to be the same today before some much needed rain moves into the area on Friday, we sure could use some. The Indy Racing League will be racing at Richmond this weeks while the Nascar Nextel Cup Series visits New Hampshire. Have a nice day and stay cool. MICKEY

"You are going into areas of your mouth where you can have bleeding, and you could be reintroducing organisms back into your system."

Three of the bloggers got the riddle right yesterday. Scott,Glenn and Louise by e-mail in that order.
ANSWER:Why did all the bowling pins lie down?
What is the best kind of letter to read on a hot day?
I will be busy packing up some of my stuff to get ready for the kitchen remodeling. Mickey will be glad to take dinner invites while the remodeling is taking place. Sorry I'm running so late on the riddle. I guess just thinking about packing makes me slow.
5,000 MILE MARK
Well my Victory Red truck tripped the 5,000 mile mark yesterday, I will have the truck for two years at the end of July. At the rate that I am going now I should approach the 6,000 mile mark later this year, I am sure my warranty will run out after three years and not the 36,000 miles. Our Appomattox League baseball team will travel to Dinwiddie tonight for two games before returning home on Friday night make up Mondays postponement with Manchester. It has been reported that five bloggers from Mickey's Place were seen at the Cracker Barrel restaurant last night in Chester, I can neither confirm or deny this information. Keith I have had several bloggers ask me when Andrews next swim meet is, I told them I didn't know because I don't follow swimming that closely. It's going to be hot the next two days before it cools of a bit for the weekend so stay cool. MICKEY
