DINWIDDIE POUNDS COLONIALS 12-2

The Colonial Heights baseball team suffered it's worst defeat of the season yesterday falling to Dinwiddie by the slaughter rule 12-2 in 5 innings. There weren't a whole lot of highlights in this won but there was a whole lot of errors, we just simply played are worst game of the season yesterday in the loss. We just have to forget about yesterdays game and get ready for Petersburg on Thursday. Also in CD action yesterday Matoaca beat Prince George 12-0, Thomas Dale beat Meadowbrook 3-1, and Hopewell beat Petersburg 10-0. Dinwiddie now has 3 game lead over Colonial Heights, Prince George and Matoaca with Thomas Dale just on game behind all three teams for the final playoff spot. In soccer action yesterday the CH girls beat Dinwiddie 8-0 and the bost team won 6-1 while the softball team lost in 10 innings 4-3. The UVA baseball team beat VCU last night 5-4 and now play NC State this weekend. The NY Rangers evened up there best of 7 series with Buffalo lat night a 2 games a piece with a 2-1 victory over the Sabres, hopefully the Rangers can pull out the series. I have had nothing but trouble with my Comcast internet service over the last few days so if you don't see a blog entry thats why. MICKEY
