COLONIALS BEAT PETERSBURG 15-5, PRINCE GEORGE COMES TO TOWN TONIGHT

The Colonial Heights Colonials scored 10 runs in the 1st inning against Petersburg yesterday afternoon and never looked back en route to a 15-5 victory over the Crimson Wave. The Colonials were lead by Lance Rhodes and Erik Loftis who had had 2 hits a piece for the Colonials. Tonight the Colonials will back at home against the Prince George Royals at 6pm, both team enter tonights game with 3 losses in the Central District. The Thomas Dale Knights picked up a big victory last night at Matoaca beating the Warriors 6-5 in 9 innings, with the win the Knights are tied with Matoaca for the final playoff spot in the Central District. The Knights have another very big game tonight when they travel to Dinwiddie. Also yesterday the CH softball team beat Petersburg but I don't know what the final score was. Tonight the girls and boys soccer teams will play Prince George as well as the softball team. Andrew's LL team will also be in action tonight against the Astros at Ironbridge Park. I have to say things are getting pretty tight in the CD, maybe Keith can post the CD standings. The weather looks like it is going to be good tonight so come on out to Shepherd Stadium. MICKEY
