COLONIALS WIN 12-7 ON SENIOR NIGHT
The Colonial Heights Colonials continued to play good baseball last night beating the Matoaca Warriors 12-7 on senior night at Shepherd Stadium. The Colonials were lead offensively by Erik Loftis who went 2-4 with a HR and 3 RBI's and Lance Rhodes who went 2-3 with a triple and 2 RBI's and Kenny Stoneback, Brett Draper, and Jonathan Neddo also had two hits a piece for the Colonials. On the mound Phillip Griffith and Nathan Anger got the job done for the Colonials, with the win the Colonials finish the regular season with a 14-6 record overall and a 11-3 CD record. In other CD action yesterday the Thomas Dale Knights picked up a big victory over Prince George 8-7. In other CHHS sports action the girls soccer team beat Matoaca 4-1 and the boys soccer team tied Matoaca 2-2, while the softball team fell 5-1. Down at the beach Manteo beat Holly Ridge Dixon 11-5 to move onto the 3rd round of the playoffs while First Flights season came to and end with an 8-6 loss to East Duplin. The UVA baseball team fell to Coastal Carolina last night 11-7, the Cavs are struggling a bit right now, hopefully they can get things straightened out soon. I will post all the photos Al took last night later today and we will play the second game next Tuesday night in CD tournament at Shepherd Stadium against an unknown opponent at this time. MICKEY

It might be the Evil Empire???
glad the colonials won, but why do they always have to make it interesting?
Al, that is a good question.
I want to know why that in the picture with Erik coming home after hitting a homerun the coach has his head down?
Thats a good question, maybe he can answer that.
