VIRGINIA LOOKS FOR ANOTHER WIN ON THE ROAD, COLONIALS FALL AT TD

The Virginia Cavaliers will be on the road today at Miami looking to knock of the Hurricanes and pick up there 2nd win in a row in the ACC.  The Cavs are 12-10 on the season 3-5 in the ACC, Miami enters the game with a 2-6 record in the ACC.  The VCU Rams will be looking to bounce back from there loss at Northeastern today at James Madison, its a game the Rams should win but its a big rivalry game so anything can happen.  The Colonial Heights Colonials boys basketball team fell at Thomas Dale last night 75-57, the Colonials will finish out there season at home on Tuesday night against Petersburg.  Down in Georgia today Scottie will be wrestling in the Regionals, I think Scott said they start this morning at 9am.  Well I went down to Wal-Mart this morning and it took bit longer than normal because they only had 1 register running and it had somebody at it who was bringing some items back for return and believe they were in no hurry to finish the transaction.  If a store is going to stay open 24 hours of day it needs to have proper personal there working when it is open, if not they should not stay open 24 hours.  MICKEY

Pick fruit, vegetables, fish and other whole foods.
In a recent study of close to 3,500 men and women published in the British Journal of Psychiatry, those who reported eating a diet rich in whole foods in the previous year were less likely to report feeling depressed than those who ate lots of desserts, fried foods, processed meats, refined grains and high-fat dairy products. Previous studies have shown that antioxidants in fruits and vegetables and omega-3 fatty acids in fish are associated with lower risk of depression. Folate, a B vitamin found in dark green vegetables like spinach, beans and citrus, affects neurotransmitters that impact mood. It’s possible that the protective effect of the whole-food diet comes from a cumulative effect of these nutrients, says lead study author Tasnime N. Akbaraly, Ph.D.
