VIRGINIA & GEORGIA LOOKING TO GET BACK ON TRACK TODAY



The Virginia Cavaliers and the Georgia Bulldogs will be both trying to get back in the win column today in college football action, Virginia will be at home against Maryland and Vanderbilt will be at Georgia. Also today Tulsa will visit East Carolina in big game for ECU, Tulsa comes into the game at 4-1. I will be going to the UVA game this afternoon, I can't remember the last time I saw UVA play at home but I think they still had astroturf. I have posted today college football lines below and they are entertainment purposes only. In high school football action last night Petersburg beat Colonial Heights 32-7 and Matoaca beat Thomas Dale 24-6. In Georgia last night Macon County knocked off Crawford County 14-0. At the beach First Flight won an offensive struggle 3-0 over Edenton Holmes and Manteo held on to beat Plymouth 24-22. In MLB action the Tigers are just one game away from the World Series after beating Oakland 3-0 yesterday they also lead the series 3-0. In the NL the Cardinals beat the Mets last night 9-6 and by doing so have tied the NL series at 1 game a piece. Dave Blaney won last nights Busch race at the Lowe's Motor Speedway and Kevin Harvick won the Busch Series Championship last night. Tonight's Nextel Cup race comes on TV at 7pm, I guess I will miss the start of the race tonight. MICKEY
