IT'S BEEN A LONG STRESSFUL WEEK
I have to say it's been a long stressful week around here with all the construction that has been going on and having baseball games 4 nights this week along with having to go back to work. I am very glad it is Friday. Our Appomattox League team split last last night with Matoaca and we will play Manchester tonight. The Nextel Cup Series is off this week before racing at the Brickyard next week. We got some more rain last night all though it wasn't very much with a couple of brief thunderstorms. We did have a bit of a scare here yesterday afternoon when the AC stopped working for a brief period of time, I am sure glad that problem was fixed because it would have been miserable last night. My sinuses are acting up a bit along with all my other problems so my AIP index has risen. Keith have you been working this week? How is your cold or sinus problem. Well I am off to work. MICKEY

1859 - Brooklyn and New York played baseball at Fashion Park Race Course on Long Island, NY. The game marked the first time that admission had been charged for to see a ball game. It cost $.50 to get in and the players on the field did not receive a salary (until 1863).

Al you and Donna may have had company last night if the AC wasnt' fixed
I think you are right Melanie
We actually went over to see the progress AND to invite Bobby and Mickey to come home with us, but the AC was already on when we got there.
Thanks for taking care of them
i think the construction dust is causing your sinus trouble.
