The Colonial Heights Colonials baseball team will be back on the road tonight at Medowbrook at 6pm. The Colonials enter the game at 5-2 in the CD and 8-5 overall. In other CD baseball games today Thomas Dale will be at Hopewell, Matoaca will be Petersburg and Dinwiddie will be at Hopewell. The CH girls and boys soccer teams and softball team will also be at Meadowbrook as well tonight. Since the blog has been pretty dead the last few days I figured that I would bring out an old photo from the past of me playing in the snow from from early years. Also my AIP has rose overnight after throwing yesterday, I have to many AIP to metion them all. Keith give us an update on Andrew's game from last night. MICKEY

Andrew's team lost 7-6 in extra innings. Andrew had unassisted DP in the bottom of the 3rd to force the extra inninngs. He pitched one inning of shutout ball in the bottom of 2nd. He struck out two and threw out a runner at 2nd base trying to advance on an overthrow.)
At the plate, Andrew was 0-1. He had two walks, 2 runs, and a K. He's still a little tentative at the plate. He and others as well are more concerned about being hit by a pitch rather than taking good aggressive swings. Hopefully, they all can overcome this fear and start to relax at the plate and take better swings.
There next game is Sat at 12 vs Astros. The Astros have several All-stars from last year. So, the Nationals better be ready to play.

What's really amazing is his stocking cap in on straight. I bet that was his first real snow. That was when he was too young for Keith and Al to throw him down.
