RENEGADES WIN GAME 1 IN 2OT 4-3

The Richmond Renegades won game 1 of there best of three series last night 4-3 over the Knoxville Ice Bears in 2OT. The Gades trailed at one point in the game 3-1 before they made there comeback, the Gades will be at home tonight for game 2 of the series at 7:30pm. If the Gades win tonight they will win the series. Also last night the Jacksonville Barracudas knocked of the #1 team in the playoffs for the 2nd night in a row in OT, Jacksonville now has a 2-0 lead in there best of 5 series, all they have to do is win 1 of there next 3 games. The Virginia Cavaliers baseball team won game 1 of there weekend series with Virginia Tech 3-1 in Blacksurg, they will Tech again today and tomorrow at 1pm. Denny Hamlin won the pole position for this weeks Nextel Cup stop at the Martinsville Speedway, the truck series will race at Martinsville today. I am not any less frustrated with Thursday's 8-6 loss to Dinwiddie than I was yesterday, both games we have lost this year were by the score of 8-6 and we had the tying run on 2nd both time with 1 out and we just couldn't come up with a big hit in either game, which is frustrating. I have posted the photos Al took at the girls soccer game and the baseball game Thursday below, he was doing double duty Thursday taking photos at both games. I might go over and watch a little of the VSU baseball game today before I go see the Gades play tonight, I will have to buy my own ticket to the hockey game tonight because dad is at the beach. the game was 1 to 0 at half time when i left for sheppard stadium. i should have stayed at the soccer field julianne had 2 goals and i think 2 assists to.

I just lost the blog I was making and this is my second attempt. I am trying to keep the good attitude but it is getting harder.

Because of our lost last night I'm going to change how I usually announce the winner of the riddle. I usually go with the book but because Melanie and Keith answers were similar I will say its a tie. I hope my new attitude will rub off on everyone and we will get back on the winning track because I want happy faces at my house.

DINWIDDIE AT COLONIAL HEIGHTS

The Colonial Heights Colonial baseball team returns home tonight at 6pm to face Central District rival Dinwiddie. Dinwiddie enters tonights game with a 3-0 record while the Colonials enter with a 4-1 record, it appears that the rain we got overnight was very light so it shouldn't effect tonights game. In other CD baseball games today Thomas Dale will be at Meadowbrook, Matoaca will be at Prince George, Hopewell plays Petersburg. The CH boys and girls soccer teams will be at home tonight against Dinwiddie. The UVA baseball team had to come from behind yesterday and score two runs in the final two innings to squeak by Longwood 4-3, the Cavs will visit Virginia Tech this weekend. I have posted my aches and pain index but if I posted one for dad his would probably be around 8 today because he did throw some batting practice last night. The Richmond Renegades open there best of 3 playoff series with Knoxville at Knoxville Friday before returning home for game 2 Saturday, the SPHL playoffs begin tonight with Jacksonville playing at Columbus. The Colonials won the baseball game yesterday. The score was Colonials 7 and Knights 6. The Knights took the lead on their home field. and the Colonials did a good job at coming back . The Colonials should feel good about that but it makes me a little nervous.
