PACKERS WIN, SKINS PLAY TODAY
Well the Packers did not play there best game of the year last night but none the less cam away with a 24-10 win over the Minnesota Vikings. After a bit of shaky start on the first series of the game the Packers defense was pretty good with the exception of the play on the Vikings TD in the final 2 minutes of the game. The Packers will travel to San Francisco next week. In the AFC yesterday Houston beat Cincinnati 19-13 and will play at New England next week. This afternoon the Redskins will be at home against the Seahawks with the winner playing in Atlanta next weekend and in the AFC today Indianapolis will be at Baltimore. The Virginia basketball team will open up ACC play tonight at home against North Carolina. It appear the NHL and it's players have reached and agreement which will end the holdout/strike, however at this point I am not to excited about the season starting in the middle of January instead of when it was suppose to start in early October. I think the NHL hurt themselves by letting the happen, being the 4th or 5th major sport in the United States the did not help themselves. MICKEY
