HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCOTT, VIRGINIA TO FACE N.C. STATE

Well today is fellow blogger and good friend Scott Woodfin's 45th birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCOTT.  The Virginia basketball team will face N.C. State this afternoon in ACC basketball tournament at 2pm, N.C. Sate beat Boston College to advance to the next round.  Virginia Tech also won last beating Clemson and for there efforts will play Duke tonight.  In college baseball action this weekend the Virginia Cavaliers will open up ACC play at home against Virginia Tech in a 3 game series.  The Colonial Heights baseball team will will have its final scrimmage of the year tomorrow afternoon at 2pm against Henrico getting ready for Monday's season opener against Fredricksburg Christian on Monday night at 6:30 pm.  In high school basketball action tonight Petersburg will play Hampton for the state championship.  The Nascar Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series will be in action at Las Vegas this weekend.  It is raining this morning here in the Heights but most of the rain should be out of here in the next few hours but the temp will fall as well highs today and tomorrow in the 50's before it warms up again next week.  It has been a very long week and sure am glad that it is Friday.  MICKEY
