The Green Bay Packers improved to 4-0 yesterday beating the Denver Broncos 49-23, the Packers offense looked very good and defense played its best game of the season so far. Next week the Packers will travel down to play the Falcons. The Redskins jumped out to a 17-0 lead over the Rams but had to hold to beat the Rams 17-10, the Skins are off next week. Besides the Packers there only one other team that this undefeated in the NFL and the also play in the NFL North and they are the Detroit Lions who came from behind yesterday to beat the Dallas Cowboys. Kurt Busch won yesterdays Nascar race at Dover holding off Jimmie Johnson for the win, Carl Edwards and Kevin Harvick are now tied for the points lead. In the MLB Playoffs the Brewers now lead the Diamondbacks 2-0 while the Tigers and the Yankees series is tied at 1-1, the Phillies vs Cardinals game was to late to make the deadline for Mickey's Place.
