Well I going to be heading back up to UVA today to bring the Cavaliers some good luck this afternoon when the play host to the Idaho Vandals. I don't know for sure but I am guessing that this is the 1st time that the Vandals have every played a game in the state of Virginia. It looks like the game time temperature is going to be in the upper 50's so its going to feel like football weather. I am also hoping to have a better week in my football contest as well but I didn't get off to a good start Thursday night when Pittsburgh upset South Florida. In high school football action last night Petersburg beat Colonial Heights 46-7, at the beach First Flight beat Pasquotank 29-25 and Manteo beat South Creek 53-8. The Major League Baseball playoffs started yesterday with Tampa crushing Texas 9-0 to take a 1-0 series lead, in the AL playoffs series the Tigers vs Yankees game was suspended after 2 innings with the score ties at 1-1 and they will resume game tonight. The NL playoffs will start today with Arizona at Milwaukee and St. Louis visiting Philadelphia. It's time to start getting all you Halloween decorations out because today is October 1 and I have say Wal-Mart has allot of candy to sell between now and then. MICKEY
