The Virginia baseball team beat the East Carolina Pirates yesterday 13-1 to advance to the Super Rgional next weekend where they will face the Anteaters of Cal-Irvine who beat UCLA last night. The Cavs jumped out to a 9-0 lead last night before East Carolina was able to push a run across the plate and with another good pitching performance pulled away from the Pirates. The Cavs racked up 17 hits in the win. Brad Keslelowski won yesterdays Nascar race at Kansas edging Dale Earnhardt Jr. in fuel mileage run to the finish, I have to say Jr. is getting close to winning but so far just hasn't been able to get over the hump. They will play game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals in Boston tonight and its a must win game for the Boston Bruins if they don't want to go down 3-0, if the Bruins lose tonight they are pretty much done.
