since the racing at vms was rained out we when to old dominion speedway to see jason sponsler race. he started on the pole feel back to 6th then moved up to finish 3rd. the main thing is he finished a race and the car is in one piece. they got in 2 complete races, the grand stock race was called after 30 some of the 50 laps complete when the rains came. didn't get to see the late models run their race. now the ride home in pouring down rain, from manassas to colonial heights, was adventure but thats another story!!

I would tell you, but I slept through a good part of the ride! Must have been all that yard work I did before we went! Poor Al!
it rained so heavy from manassas to ashland that i never got over 45mph. from ashland to colonial height wasn't much better but the rain did slow down some!
