Colonials Take Out The Knights 7-1

The Colonial Heights Colonials defeated the Thomas Dale Knights 7-1 today at Shepherd Stadium. The Colonials didn't have a hit thru four innings and trailed 1-0 going into the bottom of the 5 inning, when the scored seven runs in the bottom of the 5. CH got 7 run on five hits, there were 2 HR's, 1 triple, 1 double, and a single in that inning. Nathan Anger pitched a complete game and gave up just 4 hits on the afternoon. The Colonials improve to 5-1 in the district and 8-3 overall, TD falls to 3-3 in the district. The Colonials will play Hopewell at home tuesday, while TD ill play Matoaca.
