Bucs Back In Action Tonight
The Post 284 Bucs will be back in action tonight as we travel to Hopewell to play Post 146 at Hopewell High School at 7:30pm. The Bucs who are 3-7 need a win bad but most of all we have to start playing much better. The Jr Bucs are playing at VSU tonight and wed also, tonight against the Pirates and wed against South Hill, both games are set for 7pm. It was a rather warm and humid here in CH monday and tuesday is shaping to be about the same, with just a slight chance of t-storms. MICKEY

Bucs Lose Again, Jr Bucs Win Again
Well it was not a good for the Bucs again as we fell to Glenn Allen Post 244 8-1 at the old Matoaca High School, Shepherd was a little to wet today. It just wasn't a good game for us as we fell behind again early in the game and the bats for the most part were pretty quiet again. It seemed every time we got a runner on base we would hit into a double play. We have to come out of this slump soon, it's not a whole lot of fun losing all the time. The Jr Bucs got another victory today knocking off Stuarts Draft Post 13 9-6 at VSU. Brett Draper pitched a complete game in the victory and had 8k's in the game. The Jr Bucs next game is tuesday a VSU at 7pm. MICKEY

Bucs Lose Another Tough One
The Post 284 Bucs lost another tough one tonight losing 3-2 to Battlefield Post 144 at Shepherd Stadium. If it wasn't for bad luck it appears we wouldn't have any luck at all. The Bucs bats were silent again for the most part, we only got four hits. Jeff Shelton pitched very well in the loss only allowing six hits. The Bucs are now 3-6 and appear to be snakebit at this time. Well we will have another chance to get back in the winning side of things sunday at 4pm as we play Glenn Allen Post 244 at Shepherd Stadium. The Jr Bucs swept a double header today at VSU, they are now 7-0-1 and continue to play very well. MICKEY
It Looks Like It's Going To Be A Nice Day
It looks like it is going to be nice day here in CH, temps are suppose to be in the low 90's. It's going to be warmer here in CH than it's going to be in Knoxville, GA something is wrong with that picture. I went down to Wal-Mart around 6:15 this morning and for the second week in a row they didn't have any donuts ready, it looks like I am going to have to find somewhere else to go if the can't get them ready on time. Both Post 284 Sr teams are playing at the stadium today with Pirates playing at 5:30pm against Glenn Allen Post 244, and then the Bucs playing at 8pm against Battlefield Post 144. The Bucs are 3-5 and the Pirates are 0-7 on the season. The Jr Bucs are also playing today at VSU today I think at 3pm, I don't know who they play though. Al, is going to the Indy Car race tonight in Richmond so I might post a photo or two from that on sunday. Well I have to get ready to run. MICKEY

Bucs Get Pounded
The Bucs got pounded tonight 10-0 by Powhatan Post 201 at Powhatan High School. The Bucs only got three hits in the game and didn't play defense very well either. The sooner we get this one out our system the better we will be. The Bucs are now 3-5 and play at home at 8pm against Battlefield Post 144 on saturday. MICKEY
Rocky Racoon Returns To The Beach
I understand theat Rocky Racoon has returned to the beach house. I guess he has ran out of food in the woods and has returned to the house to look for cat food and anything else he can find there. Rocky, startled Glenn last night on the front porch or shall I say Glenn statrled Rocky, Glenn went back in the house and Rocky ran up on the roof and wouldn't come down, you decide who startled who. Not to much happening here in CH yesterday, today our baseball team travels down the road to Powhatan to play Post 201 at 7:30pm, the Buc hopefully will get back on track tonight, the Bucs are now 3-4 on the season. Bucs Lose Another Tough One, Jr Bucs Win
The Bucs lost another tough one tonight losing to South Richmond Post 137 6-4 at Shepherd Stadium. The Bucs were leading 4-3 entering the 6th inning and fave up three in the top of the 6th and that was all the scoring for the night. It was a pretty intense game there was a alot of trash talking between the teams, there were a couple of arguements, and the umpire had to warn both teams about what was going on. Things were amost at a boiling point at the end of the game, it's a good thing we don't play them for a while. Also tonight the Jr Bucs won again defeating South Hill 12-3, the Jr Bucs will play again saturday at VSU. The Jr Bucs still have not lost a game. MICKEY

The Post 284 Pirates are playing at VSU against Midlothian Post 186 at 7:30pm also. The Jr Bucs are playing at South Hill tonight at 7pm, another road trip for them, it seems like they never play at home. MICKEY

Bucs Lose A Tough One, Jr Bucs Win 10-2
The Post 284 Bucs lost a tough one today 1-0 to West End Post 361. Ben Foster pitched a great game for the Bucs, but we just never could get the offense going today. The Bucs are now 3-3 on the season and are home again on tuesday night against South Richmond Post 137 at 7:30pm. The Jr Bucs got the best of the Jr Pirates today with a 10-2 victory at VSU. The Jr Bucs don't know when there next game is because of some scheduling issues. MICKEY
Bucs And Jr Bucs Win
The Post 284 Bucs got a big victory at Mechanicsville Post 175 defeating Post 175 6-0 at Lee Davis High School. The Bucs got a 4 hit pitching performance by Jeff Shelton to lead the Bucs to victory. The Bucs also got some timely hitting in the game and turned two key double plays. The Bucs improve to 3-2 and have a game sunday with undeafeated Post 361 at Shepherd Stadium at 4pm. The Post 284 Pirates lost 7-5 to Post 361 tonight. Also the Jr Bucs swept a double header against Albermarle Post 74 today winning 10-7 and 13-9. The Jr Bucs are now 3-0-1 and the play the Jr Pirates sunday at VSU at 4pm. MICKEY

Busy Weekend For Bucs And Jr Bucs
It is going to be a very busy weekend for the Bucs and Jr Bucs. The Bucs travel to Mechanicsville Post 125 saturday at 7:30pm at Lee Davis High School and then on sunday we are home against West End Post 361 at 4pm. The Jr Bucs hit the road for two long trips this weekend, on saturday the travel to Charlottsville/Albermarle for a double header starting at 2pm, and the on sunday they travel to Emporia for a double header also starting at 2pm. Hopefully both teams will have good weekends. MICKEY
