Amazing what kids do when they're out of sight, isn't it Claire! And all those years I was scared of Willie! I guess I got too close one time and thought he kept a skunk in his pocket! Pee-ew! Didn't know he provided a speedway for the boys! He would be so proud of Al now!
he wouldn't be proud of me but to quote willie himself "micks my boy" and mickey wouldn't have nothing to do with him!! probably because he did smell not so good!!

This is the first I heard about Willie Hines Speedway. Did the winner get to ride on Willie's float in the Christmas parade

I still feel the racing at Rodanthe Speedway under the watchful eyes of "Taco" was much more thrilling..Except for Mick's rough driving
