The Colonial Heights Colonials fell to Matoaca last night on homecoming 26-6 to the Warriors. The Colonials were down 12-6 at the half and played hard the entire game but just couldn't get anything started offensively in the 2nd half. Down at the beach Edenton Holmes beat First Flight 53-7 and Manteo remained undefeated with 65-0 win over Northside. In college football action today the Virginia Cavaliers will looking for an ACC win on the road at Duke, the Cavs have struggled with Duke in recent years. In the MLB wildcard games last night the Cardinals beat the Braves and Orioles beat the Rangers. Today the Cincinnati will face San Francisco and Oakland will face Detroit.
