RESDKINS WIN AGAIN, PACKERS HEADING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION
The Washington Redskins fell behind 14-0 early in the 1st quarter but like good teams to the Redskins rallied back for a 23-17 win over the Eagles. The Redskins defense played extremely well again yesterday yesterday and the Skins offense which looked bad early yesterday made the adjustments they needed to and sustained several long drives which wore down the Eagle defense. The Redskins will be back at home next week against the Rams. The Green Bay Packers on the other hand seem to be heading in the wrong direction, the Packers fell to the Falcons yesterday 27-24. The Packer offense seems to be in a bit of rut at times and the defense isn't playing to that well, there just seems to be something missing from the Packers, o yeah Brett Favre. It doesn't look like the Packers are going to make the playoffs this year. Speaking of playoffs the Phillies beat the Brewers yesterday in the NL playoffs, so it will be the Dodgers against the Phillies for the NL Championship staring Thursday. In the AL the Angels beat the the Red Sox in 12 innings 5-4 to stay alive, both the Rays and Red Sox lead there respctive series 2-1. Tony Stewart won yesterdays crash filled race at Talladega and Jimmie Johnson leads the point standings by 72 over Carl Edwards, 77 over Greg Biffle and 99 over Jeff Burton. I have posted a link below to the photos Al took at the Homecoming game Friday night, I have about half the photos online now and the rest of them will be posted by the end of the day. MICKEY

Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear. Ambrose Redmoon

AMAZING FACT
Elephants often communicate at sound levels as low as 5Hz. This means that if you flap your hands back and forth faster than five times a second, an elephant can actually hear the tone produced.
Ease your burdens
Don't make life's difficulties even more difficult by filling your mind with resentment. Instead, ease your burdens by choosing to be truly thankful for them.
If you feel resentment starting to take hold, stop and consider this. There's nothing to be gained by bringing yourself down over what has already happened.
Use the occasion to remember all the things for which you can be thankful. Rise to the challenge of seeing the positive aspects that are surely there within any troubling situation.
Holding on to resentment will drain valuable energy away from you. Gratitude, on the other hand, can fill you with fresh, new positive energy.
Choose to see the value in your situation. Choose to look forward with confidence instead of looking backward with resentment.
Right now, there is much for which to be thankful. Focus on the positive possibilities, and find real joy in steadily bringing them to life.
