Devil Rays Win!! Rays Win!
The Rookie Devil Rays defeated the Rookie Phillies tonight by the of score 12-11. The Rays struck early by posting a 3 spot in the top of the first, the big blow was a two run homer by your favorite Devil Ray. Unfortunately, the lead was short lived, as the Philles rallied for 4 runs in their half of the first and as the final score indicates it was see-saw battle the rest of the way.
The Rays own a 12-9 lead in the bottom of the 5th, however things didn't look good for them as the Phillies plated two runs before Rays go the first out, a strikeout by "Big Blue" the machine. The next guy grounded out to the second baseman (who happened to be your favorite Ray) and "Big Blue" then gave up two singles before settling down and getting a strikeout to end the game.
Andrew line: 3 for 3, 3 runs, 3 rbis, HR at the plate. Defensively he recorded an unassisted putout a 1st base and (as mentioned) 4-3 assist in the crucial last inning.
