The Virginia Cavaliers lost the last game ever at U-Hall to Maryland 71-70. The Cavs fell behind by 16 in the 2nd half and were pretty lucky to even have a chance at beating Maryland. Virginia will play Va. Tech in the ACC basketball tournament later this week. The Richmond Riverdogs picked up a much needed victory defeating the Elmira Jackals in NY yesterday 4-1, the Dogs are until this weekend when the play at Roanoke both friday and saturday nights. Denny Hamlin won yesterday's Busch race in Mexico City, he is having a pretty good year so far. It's not looking good for practice this afternoon, there is 50% chance of rain. Has anybody heard anything from George, he seems to be missing in action from the blog. Gary we are still waiting for your return to the blog.
