Well UVA held on for a 27-24 victory over Syracuse, they didn't play very well in my opinion but they did get the W. The Cavs will open up ACC play next week at home as Duke visits. ECU din't fair as well as the Pirates fell to Wake 44-34, they simply could not stop the run, gave up over 400 yards on the ground. Here is what happened in the rest of the ACC West VA 31 Maryland 19, Duke 40 VMI 19, Va Tech 45 Ohio 0, Miami 36 Clemson 30 OT, NC State 54 E Kentucky 10, Ga Tech 28 UCONN 13, Wisconsin 14 UNC 5 and Fla St 28 BC 17. Georgia also got a victory over powerhouse LA Monoroe 44-7, and in a blowout USC defeated Arkansas 70-17. Teams of interst in the NFL this weekend CLE at GB-6, and after some complaints last week PITT-6 at HOU, and monday night WAS at DAL-6. The Nextel Cup Series is at NH today for the first race in the final 10 and Tony Stewart is on the poll.
