the colonials took a 1 to 0 lead with julianne sponslers goal, but the lady blue deveils scored late in the 2nd half to take the game to overtime. neither team scored in the 2 5-minute overtimes!
i wished they did penalty kicks. they have 2 5-minute overtime periods, its not sudden death either! either team could have scored in the first overtime peroid and they still would have played the second overtime period. soccer is a more physical game than i thought but the rules sometimes seem very stoopid!! or i am!! one or the other!!

ReplyDeleteThey do shoot outs in tournaments only. That's very stressful, but better than a tie.
