ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY:

today is another big day in t.v. history with the debut of several great shows. starting with the andy griffith show which began airing on cbs in-1960, father knows best-1954,captain kangaroo-1955, the mickey mouse club-1955, the dick van dyke show-1961. JUST THOUGHT YOU'D LIKE TO KNOW.

    Unlike most of you, I actually saw the shows during their original air times...not as reruns! Just for the record, Father Knows Best wasn't the only thing making its debut in 1954!

    The Captain was also Clarabell the clown on Howdy Doody show.Honk Honk!!!!
